I am looking to back up around 40 gigs of data to dvds. I have found spliting up the data manually is very taxing. Is there a bruning software that can do this for me? I would like to just give it all of the information and then as one DVD is done it will promt me for another.

Hi - the feature you are looking for is called "Disc spanning" (as ever, the key is knowing what the dratted thing is called): this Wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disc_spanning) is helpful; & the NTI (commercial) 'mediamaker (http://www.nticdmaker.com/main_mediamaker.htm)' burning application allegedly has an auto-spanning feature when burning data DVDs.

. .  I am assuming you use some form of Windows; if not please specify which OS you use.
