I RECENTLY INSTALLED A NEW CD DRIVE, HOWEVER THE COMPUTER WONT FIND IT ATALL...IVE TRIED EVERYTHING...

PLEASE HELP..

ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREATFULLY RECEIVED

. .  Hi & please turn off your caps lock: the issue is possibly with the jumper settings on your new CD Drive, &/or the ribbon-cable you are using to connect it to the motherboard.

If it is the only drive on the cable, put it on one end of the cable, & jumper it to "master" - use a new ribbon-cable &/or check the old one for breaks/cracks/damage. Check the "molex" ie power-supply plug is the right way up.

Please post back if this sorts things or if your configuration is different. If you get no life from this CD Drive, get a friend to try it in their PC: if it doesn't work there as well/return, RMA the thing to where you bought it.
