Hello all,
I have tried many times to burn data cds full of music to play on my CD player.
At times, it is successful, but at other times, though it states that the burn HAS been successful, the CD does not play on the CD player.

Why is this? As far as I am aware, the file types are the same always, and nothing unusual.

This has been very frustrating and caused me to waste many cds and much time.

If it is any help, I use either Windows Media Player or Real Player to burn the CDs.
Thank you for your time

It may be that your CD player is very fussy.  Are you able to read copied disks made by other people?

It could be a media issue, try changing the media you are using to another make.

It is also worth trying to burn at lower speed, 8x seems to be a good speed.

BTW can you play the CDs on your computer?
