hi:
i've been having problems the last couple of days burning a dvd data disc. (ISO)
i'm using a PLEXTOR DVDR PX-716A drive, Taiyo Yuden DVD-R 8X / Silver Lacquer discs, and nero burning rom 6 software. attemped burn speed was 4x. (btw, TYs are preferred discs for this plextor drive.)
last time prior to this i tried to burn a dvd iso was 05/20/2007. that was using all the same hardware, software and media as i'm using now and the burn was successful.
i ran q-check FE/TE and write transfer rate tests with plextools and they revealed no problems. i also tried burning just a small file (350mb) on the chance that there was some cache/buffer issue, but that too was unsuccessful. i was able to burn a cdrom iso.
can you please help me? thank you very much.
