Hello, I'm running Nero OEM 6.6.0.13, bought the program about two years ago with the burner and have had minimal problems. It's normally running in Nero StartSmart mode. However, this past week I needed to make a copy of the Windows XP installation cd (I used my mother's retail copy to boot my own pc once upon a time, and we both feel it would be practical if I have a cd copy of my own) and to do that, one needs to use Nero Burning ROM. I found this set of intsructions:

Strange - or am I missing some kind of shortvcut route? If it isn't, where can I download it as ana accessory to Nero OEM? All I need is a full trial copy.
. . Hi: you don't need Nero to make 1:1 copies of installation CDs: this task is to make an 'image' of the source CD
(one great big file containing all the data & layout of the CD) then write this 'image' to a blank CD. Result is a 1:1 copy of the original.
. . . there is a
(free & very good) application called ImgBurn designed to do this specific task. I use ImgBurn in preference to any other application for image-reading/image-making/image-writing tasks.
imgBurn is very, very, simple to use - there are illustrations of reading a CD to an image
here (top picture); & writing the image to a CD
here.
Post here if you have any issues/questions.
