Hi Mitch

What are the original DVDs like when played back on another DVD player or your computer?

If they are OK what are the transfered VOB files like when played back on your computer?

I am having problems with burning DVD.
I burn a DVD from My TV DVD recorder they are VOB files they play back perfectly.
I then transfer from the DVD+RW disc to my Ext HD again they show as VOB files
I then want to watch this Movie on my TV so I burn to the same disc this is where it all goes wrong, I have used Windows Media Centre and Ashampoo.I have done this as VOB files also converted to mpeg2. Asv, DivX the results are :
Mpeg2 and asv good pic but sound out of sync
DivX pic terrible but sound in sync.
Please!  What am I doing wrong.

It is with deep regret that we have had to take the decision to suspend new registrations.  It took 3 hours to remove the spam that some moron had left on this site a few days back and we have had nothing but spam since.  Burningissues was set up by a group of enthusiasts who were willing to give their time up to help the community but we are not willing to spend hours deleting other folks pathetic attempt to gain free advertising for their sick and perverse pleasures.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause
