A relative new comer to the CDR software world is CDMate from Copystar.  CDMate is the whole singing, whole dancing software which will copy your protected CDs, write your files to disk, write audio files, ISO files and will even write files from CloneCD.  If you have any problems with this software then post in the CDR Software section of our forum where the Tech guys from copystar promised to answer any questions.

You'd like to know which CDR burning application is the fastest?  Visit our Speed Tests of the major [& minor] players - can the little guys really take the heat? 

Does it have to take hours to copy a protected CD? We are presently completing speed tests using the only two applications which can copy protected disks without the need for a patch: BlindWrite and CloneCD.  

We test many common - & uncommon - CDReaders & CD-burners for the speed with which they can read a Safedisk-protected source.  As we are testing each device three times it can take in excess of ten hours to test just one of them: if you're considering buying a new reader or burner . . . . this could save you more than time . . . . watch this space.
